Springfield, MO- What a way to end a week. Congratulations to all the girls on their hard work and dedication to soccer.

Championship rounds start on May 21. The Missouri State High School Activities Association website has all the updated district scores and upcoming championship brackets.

Class 1 District 12

Catholic 3 Logan Rogersville 1- Catholic next face Osage on May 21 at 6pm, Osage High School.

Class 2 District 11

Republic 2 Willard 1-Republic will face Carl Junction on May 21. MSHSAA has indicated that the host will be the District 11 winner, which is Republic.

Class 3 District 12

Kickapoo 3 Central 1- Kickapoo will go on the face Nixa on May 21 in Nixa.

Springfield, MO- It was another exciting day for Girls High School Soccer district playoff games in the Ozarks!

Class 1 District 11

Osage 4 Crocker 1-Osage are the District Champions! They will go on to play the District 12 Winner on May 21,6pm at Osage High School.

Class 1 District 12

Catholic 5 McAuley 0, Rogersville 1 Greenwood 0. Catholic and Rogersville will meet for the District Championship on Friday,5pm at Cooper 1. The winner will go on to play Osage on May 21.

Class 2 District 10

Rolla 10 Marshfield 0, Helias 3 Bolivar 0 – Rolla and Helias will meet in the District Championship game on Thursday, 6pm in Rolla.

Class 2 District 11

Willard will meet Hillcrest tonight, while Republic takes on Mt View.

Class 2 District 12

Carl Junction and Carthage will play in the District Championship game tonight.

Class 3 District 10

Branson v Parkview 2013

Branson, MO-The Branson Pirates will be hosting a tournament Friday the 19th, and concluding on Saturday the 20th. This tournament will feature new and evolving teams in the Ozarks.

Games will be played at two locations this year. Friday preliminary rounds will be played at Branson Jr. High and Branson High School. The Championship bracket will be at the high school on Saturday, with the consolation rounds being played at the junior high school.

The winners of the Branson/Marshfield and Webb City/Osage game will play at 9am at BHS Stadium Saturday morning. The Loosing teams will play in the consolation bracket 9am Saturday morning at BJHS stadium.

The winners of the Carl Junction/Carthage and Central/Rogersville games will play at 11am at BHS Stadium. The loosing teams will play 11am at BJHS Stadium in the consolation bracket.

Winners of the 9am and 11am winners bracket game will play at 3:30, BHS stadium, for first and second place. The loosing teams will play at 1:30 BHS stadium for 3rd and 4th place.

Soccer balls were flying in the wind last night at local Ozark’s high school boy’s soccer games. Here are a few of the scores:

Ozark 5 West Plains 1 – Ozark (11-10) will play Waynesville at home on 10/25/12. West Plains (4-18) hosts Osage on 10/19/12.

Bolivar 2 Republic 1-Bolivar(14-7) travels to Branson on 10/22/12. Republic (8-9) hosts Webb City on 10/22/12.

Joplin 2 Carthage 0-Joplin (19-1-1) will host Nixa on 10/22/12. Carthage (16-7) will play at Kickapoo on 10/23/12.

Central 2 Hillcrest 0-Central(14-5) will host Branson on 10/23/12. Hillcrest(4-14)will play at Glendale on 10/22/12.

Kickapoo/Rolla was rescheduled for October 24,2012.

Thursday was a busy night of soccer in Ozarks. The teams aren’t taking a rest, as some are traveling to tournaments all over the state. Here are some of the scores from Thursday night’s games.

Willard 4 Branson 3-Willard hosts Neosho on 10/16/12. Branson hosts Nixa on 10/18/12.

Camdenton 2 Jeff City 4-Camdenton will travel to Rolla for an Ozarks Conference game on 10/16/12.

Cassville 0 Carl Junction 1-New Covenant will be at Cassville on 10/16/12. Carl Junction hosts College Heights on 10/15/12.

Nixa 2 Carthage 1-(In PK’s)-Nixa will be at Glendale 10/15/12. Carthage will be at Carl Junction on 10/16/12.

Republic 2 Hillcrest 0-Republic plays at Bolivar on 10/18/12. Hillcrest will be at Central 10/15/12.

The Tigers beat the Bulldogs

A dreary Ozark’s morning turned sunny for the Willard Tigers, as they faced Central High School in the Willard Fall Classic. The Tigers won this match 2-0, allowing them to move on to the championship round of the tournament.                                            

Willard started the first half in control of the game. Central was able to get 3 shots on goal,the last hitting the post and bouncing out. Willard’s Quinton Puckett took the ball, dribbled down the field,through the defenders,scoring the first goal. An unmarked Cooper Dunn of Willard scored shortly after, with a put back on the right side of the goal. The first half closed with Willard up 2-0.

Willard once again began the second half in control of the flow of play. Central slowly started to gain control of the game and threatened Willard in their backyard. Central had several shots on goal,one which resulted in a mad scramble in front of the Willard goalie. Central failed to capitalize on their chances. Willard won the game, 2-0.

The 8th Annual SW Missouri Soccer All-Star game will take place on Thursday, June 21 at Greenwood Stadium Field, at the Cooper Soccer Complex.  The girls game will begin at 5:30pm, followed by the boys game at approximately 7:30pm.

Come out and support all these great soccer players and see a great game of soccer in the ozarks.
